Alabama Cycling Classic

The annual Alabama Cycling Classic is set for April 8 and 9, 2017, in Anniston, Alabama. This Professional Road Tour draws top teams from around the U.S. as well as international talent to two different races, the Sunny King Criterium on Saturday and the McClellan Road Race on Sunday. Professional, junior and amateur riders compete.

Sunny King Criterium and Noble Street Festival

During the .71 mile Sunny King Criterium, cyclists sprint through Anniston’s downtown historic district while the locals enjoy the Noble Street Festival, which offers samplings of local cuisine, art and music, a kid’s zone, and cycling events designed for the whole family. Link to festival map.

Taste on Noble

A signature attraction of the Noble Street Festival, “Taste on Noble” will feature a dozen of our community’s restaurants. Each will offer a delectable menu for you and your family to enjoy as you experience the festival and take in the Sunny King Criterium racing action. The restaurants will line Noble Street, just off 11th Street.


Enjoy a snack, lunch or dinner while strolling about Downtown Anniston, or relax for a sit-down at one of the many dining tables. Please join us, and dine outdoors while enjoying the fast-paced bike races, fun kids’ activities, and the crafts of local and regional artists…all within footsteps of each other.

Scion Kidzone tickets may be purchased from designated BB&T tents throughout the festival from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Tickets will be sold in strips of 17 tickets for $20, 13 tickets for $15, and 4 tickets for $5. Unused tickets may not be returned for refund.
