2024 Redistricting
The City of Anniston has upgraded our two recycling stations! We have added two Cardboard Recycling Trailers that will now keep cardboard recyclables safe from the rain! The previously used blue bins did accept more diverse types of recyclables; however, if it ever rained, all those recyclables would be lost and had to be thrown away. On top of this issue, some were using the blue bin as a trash can, which further worsened the situation.
Therefore, we are starting fresh with cardboard only. That said, we view this as a starting point, and look to add more features to our recycling program in the future.
These two recycling trailers will be located in the parking lot of the Anniston City Meeting Center (1615 Noble St, Anniston, AL 36201) and the Norwood Hodges Community Center (3125 Spring Valley Rd, Anniston, AL 36207).
The two trailers will be available 24/7. At times, they will have to be emptied and will be unavailable until returned to site.
