The Purchasing Division under legislative authority is designated and responsible to purchase supplies, materials, services and equipment required by any office, department or agency in the City of Anniston. The Division maintains procedures as necessary to carry out the Purpose of the Alabama Competitive Bid Law associated with expenditures of funds for labor, services, work, materials, equipment and supplies for the City.
