Get ready for our Annual “Drive-Thru” Trunk-or-Treat at Carver Community Center!

Join us for a night of spooky fun, treats, and community spirit—without leaving your car!
Important Safety Reminder: This is a drive-thru only event—no walk-ups allowed to ensure everyone’s safety.
Want to be part of the magic?
We’re looking for volunteers and organizations to hand out candy from their cars or be assigned to work at a roadblock. If you’re interested, contact us at 256.231.7630.

Trick-Or-Treat at City Hall!

Come Trick-Or-Treat at Anniston City Hall on Thursday, October 31, 2024, for some Halloween fun from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM CT!
This annual event is open to all the kiddos, parents are welcomed as well! Be sure to dress up and go department by department to see who has the best treats! Who knows? We may even need your help judging our Halloween decorations and costumes!

Anniston Changers at Glen Addie! (03/29/25)

Spring is back and so are the Anniston Changers! We invite you to join us in making a positive impact in the Glen Addie community on Saturday, March 29th.
Volunteers will meet at the Dr. David Satcher & St. Michael’s Clinic (pictured above) located at 426 Mulberry Avenue, Anniston) from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT.

During this project, we will:
Collect and remove debris piles
Clean litter from streets and public areas
Assist with additional beautification efforts

23rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast & Youth Participation Day!

The City of Anniston “Good Choices” Program cordially invites the community to our 22nd Annual “Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast and Youth Participation Day” commencing at 9:00 AM CST on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Anniston City Meeting Center (1615 Noble St, Anniston, AL 36201).
An award will be given to the class with the largest participation! All City and County Schools are invited to participate. Participating students can sign in on-site the day of the event, or by visiting: www.annistonal.gov/mlk-sign-in
About this Event:
The breakfast is an annual event sponsored by the City of Anniston Good Choices Program. Its purpose is to commemorate the legacy of Dr. King while imparting to our youth the importance of perpetuating his vision of a united and non-violent society. The program showcases local youth engaging in dance or showcasing their poetic excellence through diction and more! Recognized as Youth Participation Day, all schools, both city and county, are strongly encouraged to participate!

3:30: Beginner Rec (Ages 6 & up)
5:00: Pre School (Ages 3-5)
6:30: Intermediate Rec (Ages 6 & up)
Wednesdays
3:30: Beginner Rec (Ages 6 & up)
5:00: Tumbling / Bar Basics (Ages 5 & up)
