After the collection period, APD will host its annual Toy Drive Giveaway at the station near Christmas time!

Annual Judkins Family Christmas BBQ!
🎄 The Judkins Family Christmas BBQ Returns for Its 10th Year!
The City of Anniston is excited to share that the 10th Annual Judkins Family, Friends, and Community Christmas BBQ will take place on Thursday, December 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carver Center (720 W. 14th St.).
This cherished community tradition offers free food, fellowship, and live entertainment from N2 Christ, the Mary Culpepper Community Choir, and more.

The Wiggins Community Center is proud to once again offer free Thanksgiving meals to the community! Includes 5 sampling tickets, drinks, condiments, AND a voting ticket for People’s Choice – Best Chili.

2025 Calhoun County Veterans Day Parade
🇺🇸Main Street Anniston will host the annual Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, starting at: 2:00 PM CT. The parade will be in Downtown Anniston, following the same route as the annual Christmas Parade
Join us in honoring the brave men and women who have served our nation! The Main Street Anniston Veterans Day Parade will celebrate our local heroes with patriotic floats, marching bands, community groups, and veterans’ organizations.
To participate, simply complete the parade application and submit it by mail or email (submission information is on application). There is no entry cost for the parade.
