My Republic Can Has Not Been Collected
Starting Monday, October 6, 2025, if you still have a blue Republic trash can, place it outside by the roadside on your regular trash day. DO NOT BRING IT BACK TO YOUR HOUSE. The can must remain by the roadside until it is collected and removed. It does not matter if it is empty or full—place it at the roadside and leave it there. Even if your regular gray 121 Disposal can has already been serviced, LEAVE your blue Republic can at the roadside. Blue cans will be collected later the same day as your regular trash pickup, but in the afternoon during bulk-item pickup.
Bulk Pickup of Leaves/Grass
121 Disposal is receiving reports of leaves blowing out of trucks during collection. Unfortunately, this cannot be fully prevented unless leaves and grass are bagged. To help us serve you better and keep streets clean, please bag leaves and grass clippings whenever possible before placing them at the curb for bulk item pickup.
Can Delivery
As of Oct. 10 2025, approximately 230 new trash cans remain to be delivered. 121 Disposal crews are working daily until dark to complete distribution, and additional staff will be deployed on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, to ensure delivery is finished as quickly as possible.
