The City of Anniston, Alabama proudly invites the community to our Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast & Youth Participation Day!

This year’s keynote Speaker is Talladega Mayor Ashton Hall. A Talladega native Mayor Hall made history on September 19, 2023, becoming the youngest elected mayor in Talladega’s history at just 22 years old. Known for his dynamic leadership and deep commitment to service, Mayor Hall exemplifies the power of youth, education, and community engagement!

Awards: The class with the largest participation will receive a special award! Students from all city and county schools are encouraged to attend. Sign in on-site the day of the event or pre-register at: www.annistonal.gov/mlk-sign-in

About the Event:

This annual breakfast honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It serves as a platform to inspire our youth to continue Dr. King’s vision of unity and non-violence. The program will feature local youth showcasing their talents through dance, poetry, and more!
