2024 Redistricting
The Anniston Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) offers exciting activities for residents of all ages. With 20 parks, over 6 community centers, and 2 golf courses, there is always something fun to do in Anniston!
Our Athletic Department hosts fall sports that include football, flag football, soccer, and softball. Winter sports include basketball and futsal (indoor soccer). Spring sports include baseball, t-ball, soccer, and softball. To register your child for our PARD sports, please click here. You may also contact our Athletic Director, Darren Spruill, for more information on our programs at: dspruill@annistonal.gov.
The PARD team also operates the Y.E.S. (Youth Empowered for Success) program and our Good Choices Program. The YES program offers deserving students the opportunity to learn job-related skills that will hopefully enhance their chances of job placement upon completion of high school and college. Good Choices Program: We are very proud of Good Choices initiative, as it frequently puts on engaging activities for our youth, donation drives for those in need, and it offers Summer employment opportunities with the city to our local youth.
Our Aquatic and Fitness Center is a state of the art facility located at the Anniston Sports Complex on McClellan at 130 Summerall Gate Road. It features an indoor pool, fitness areas, group exercise classes, meeting space, recreational programs and more. It also handles all of our youth athletic registrations.
Located at 1615 Noble Street, Anniston’s City Meeting Center provides the perfect spot for seminars, company meetings, and small conferences. The facility also offers splendid accommodations for banquets, socials, parties, receptions, and special events. Click here to learn more or to reserve space at the meeting center for your next event!
Our Senior Center offers many wonderful programs for those looking to live an active, social, and engaged lifestyle despite their physical limitations.
