Get ready for an exciting week of Spring Break Activities happening March 24-28, 2025! Here’s what we have planned for your little ones:

📍 Carver Center (720 W. 14th St.)

🎯 Games and outdoor fun (weather permitting) or indoor activities in the gym!
📅 Tuesday, March 25
📍 Center Free Play Day
🕚 11:00 AM
⚽ Free play as campers from all centers meet up!
📅 Wednesday, March 26
📍 Hodges Center (3125 Spring Valley Rd.)
🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🎯 Games and outdoor fun (weather permitting) or indoor activities in the gym!
📅 Thursday, March 27
📍 Field Trip to the Birmingham Zoo! 🦁🐒
🔹 Only 40 spots available – Cost is $10 per Camper — Register here by completing the Permission Slip!
📅 Friday, March 28
📍 Spring Break Fun Day at Zinn Park
🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🎈 Enjoy inflatables, games, food, Kona Ice, and a special show from the Anniston Museum!
🌟 Day Camp Details:
In addition to the activities, an all-day camp will be offered at the Wiggns Center from Monday, March 24 to Friday, March 28, 2025. Camp will run from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM CT each day! More details are below:
Cost: $55 per child
Open to Pre-K & Kindergarten (ages 3-4, fully potty trained) and Day Campers (ages 5-12)
Bring lunch and two snacks each day

Annual Arbor Day Tree Give-Away!

Join us on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM CT for our annual Arbor Day Tree Give-Away! The event will take place at the Anniston City Market (114 West 11th Street, Anniston, AL 36201). We thank Alabama Power for graciously donating the trees each year for this event!

2025 Anniston Heritage Festival!

The City of Anniston, Alabama, is excited to reveal our star-studded lineup for the 2025 Heritage Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Zinn Park. ⬇️
🎤 Featured Performers:
🎶 H-Town: Headlining this year’s festival is the renowned R&B group H-Town. Emerging in the early 1990s, H-Town captivated audiences with their smooth vocals and chart-topping hits. Their soulful sound continues to resonate, making them a beloved act in the R&B scene.
🎶 Sir Charles Jones: Dubbed the “King of Southern Soul,” Sir Charles Jones blends elements of blues, soul, and R&B. With popular tracks such as “Country Boy” and “Still In Love,” his heartfelt performances have earned him a dedicated following.
🎶 West Love: Known for her dynamic stage presence and soulful voice, West Love has been making waves in the Southern Soul circuit. Her authentic style and engaging performances make her a rising star in the genre.

This free, family-friendly event is an annual Juneteenth tradition in downtown Anniston, drawing 5,000 to 8,000 attendees to celebrate freedom, culture, and community through music and fellowship.
